Please help!  This dog has been given one more week before she is put down by the owners - they simply cannot keep her  -We are trying to help the owners find a foster or forever home by then!
BUSTER DOES NOT HAVE ANY FOSTER HOMES WITH AN OPENING FOR AN  ADULT DOG!

Faye is a 2 year old spayed female pit bull.  Her owners have lost half their income, and as a consequence, their home.  The complex they have found to live in will not allow pets.  Following is a short bio as written by the current owner:

Faye came to us in May of 2008. Faye was found by a friend living in terrible conditions, and was in pretty bad shape herself.  Our friend rescued Faye - nursing her back to good health.  After she was much better, he asked if we would take her. The vet told us she thought she was about a year old then.

Faye is very lovable with every human she comes in contact with. But she does not like other animals. She has come to be friends with the neighbor's dogs that are on the other side of the fence. We have a 17, 11 and 3 year old and she is great with all of them. My 3 year old lays with her all the time and even tries to ride her. Faye does not care! She sleeps with one of the kids every night.

Faye is 100% housebroken. No accidents what-so-ever. She is also crate trained. She will go in her crate when you tell her too. She is mainly an indoor dog. Only goes out to go potty, for a walk or to hang out with us. She is truly a great dog.

We are heartbroken at being forced to give her up - we have tried friends and family but have not found anyone able to take in another pet.  Please help us to save her!
