Roxy is a courtesy listing. As such, The Buster Foundation cannot vouch for her temperament or health.
Roxy is a beautiful chocolate colored female who absolutely loves kids and people. She is 3 yrs. old, spayed, housebroken, and weighs about 40 pounds.
Roxy is a victim of divorce and a bad Mom! She was thrown out into the cold and was taken in temporarily by kind samaritans! Unfortunately they are leaving the country soon on vacation, along with having an old rescue dog already so they cannot keep this sweet loving girl. Roxie is in desperate need of a foster family or even better, a loving forever family! Poor Roxie was attacked some time ago while being walked - two big dogs jumped on her and she was hurt badly. Now she's a little prickly around strange dogs at first but seems to be fine with the older dog in her rescuer's home - he just can't match her energy and gets annoyed with her :)
She is curently crated during the day with a noon fiesta, and during the evening she runs in the yard with no problem. She has never barked since she was rescued.
Please, she has to find a home before November 13th or we may have to take her to our local shelter - who does not practice no kill and she's way to sweet for that. Plus, she is a chocolate and from what I hear that's not a common color for pits. Thanks for your help.
